Target group: This training is suitable for anyone wanting to recognise domestic abuse and how to respond through signposting to appropriate services.
This programme will cover the following 3 key points:
- What is domestic abuse?
- Who is affected by domestic violence or abuse?
- What is Safe Place?
(TIER 2 - BRONZE) CREATING A SAFE PLACE FOR EMPLOYEES – SAFE EMPLOYER
Duration: 90 minute online session
Target group: This training is suitable for small businesses, line managers, Human Resource and Welfare/Wellbeing staff, safeguarding staff, Union Representatives and anyone wishing to be a Safe Place Advocate.
This programme will cover the following 3 key points:
- Becoming a Safe Place for your staff
- Recognising Economic Abuse
- Recognising Risk in the Workplace
Prior attendance at (Tier 1) Domestic Violence & Abuse Awareness Raising (Safe Place) training essential.
(TIER 3 - SILVER) SUPPORTING EMPLOYEES – SAFE EMPLOYER
Duration: 90-minute online session
Target group: This training is suitable for Line Managers, HR/Welfare/Wellbeing staff, Union Representatives and anyone wishing to be a Safe Place Advocate.
This programme will cover the following 3 key points:
- Understanding your policy
- Practical Supports in the Workplace
- Supporting inclusive practice
Prior attendance at (Tier 1) Domestic Violence & Abuse Awareness Raising (Safe Place) & (Tier 2) Safe Employer essential.
