Our purpose

Onus purpose is twofold.

Through the provision of a quality consultancy and training service we equip individuals, teams, organisations and businesses with the knowledge, understanding, skill and confidence to provide a responsive, effective service to meet the needs of victims of domestic violence. We exist to provide financial stability to Women’s Aid (ABCL&N) to maintain and develop core services to women, children and young people affected by domestic violence.

These services include crisis refuge accommodation and resettlement, training and education programmes for women, prevention work with children and youth and court support service.

Onus supports these vital services through ‘profit shedding’ to Women’s Aid (ABCL&N).
